Experiència a Londres (GWE '23)
M'emportaré aquestes dues setmanes com una de les experiències més significants al llarg de la meva vida. No només he après i practicat anglès amb persones natives, sinó que ho he fet d'una manera especial: coneixent a noves persones. Les classes als matins em servien per profunditzar en l'anglès que ja sabia, però sobretot em va servir per parlar amb persones de països estrangers on també estaven en la mateixa situació: estar allà per aprendre. No ens oblidem de les tardes, on fèiem turisme tots junts. Amb els professors ha sigut encara més divertit, ja que formaven part de nosaltres, els alumnes. Era un molt bon moment per passar temps amb les persones que ho has fet durant el curs, encara que aquest cop l'hem passat sense preocupacions i gaudint d'una ciutat molt maca.
I just wanted to share some positive feedback we received from the shops about the student
- I just wanted to quickly say how professional and enthusiastic your 2 students Julia and Ines were at Hammersmith. I was there on Wednesday visiting the shop for meeting with Moses. They were amazing, so cheerful and very keen to learn and help
- The shop manager said that they were the best student volunteers (Marc and Laia) that they’d had and that it was like having 2 extra paid members of staff for 4 days. Their hard work made sure that the shop was able to make their target and even went over it by 3% (which might not sound a lot but it was a high target!).
